Our experience and knowledge allows us to better understand your pets needs and how to best interact with all shapes and sizes. WALKIES strongly believes in continual education and always being hip to the latest in pet-care, pet nutrition, as well as the latest behavioral training techniques. WALKIES offers one-on-one care. We do not walk any other dogs, while we are with yours. Additionally, all of our pet sitters and dog walkers are residents of Philadelphia and New Jersey, so if an emergency were come up, someone is close by. The safety of your pets and your home is our first priority. So take a load off!

We are extremely selective about the pet sitters and dog walkers that we choose to hire. We run full background checks on every applicant and guarantee that you will be provided with friendly, responsible and professional sitter, better than any other at dog walking, cat sitting, providing overnight pet care, housesitting and of course loving your pet! We have an intesive oreintation program that each and every pet sitter and dog walker goes through before becoming an official WALKIES team member. Thank goodness!
Convenience.
Our mission is to make your life easier. You will have the ability to re-book service using our state of the art, on-line booking system. You will be assigned a sitter, that will be your pets dog walker or cat sitter. However, should your assigned sitter be booked, we ALWAYS have an alternative sitter on staff available for you to meet prior to your provided service. This way we can ALWAYS (well 99% of the time), be available for your pet care needs!
We are also open 365 days a year...so you can make it to your In-laws for the holidays! Ha!
WALKIES understands that owning and taking care of your pets is a big investment. That is why our rates and services are affordable and competitive. Relax, you found the right people, we're here for you!
Morning Mug / $16.50 per 30 minutes Daily dog walking, or just once and while-WALKIES will come to your home between the hours of 7am-9am for some morning exercise and breakfast feeding…quite a pick-me-up! Walks are 20-25 minutes in duration. Add $2 per extra dog
Fresh Air / $16.50 per 30 minutes Daily dog walking, or just once and a while-WALKIES will come to your home between the hours of 11am & 2:30pm to sniff around town or give them some well deserved love and attention, plus hugs and kisses… it’s your choice! Walks are 20-25 minutes in duration. Add $2 per extra dog
Preferred Client / Flat Monthly Rate
If you book daily dog walking Monday through Friday for the month, as a thank you WALKIES will charge a flat rate of $300 per month. The best part? You end up with over 1 free month of walks for the year! Add $20 per month/ per extra dog
Dinner Date / $20 per 30 minutes
WALKIES will come to your home between the hours of 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM to feed and walk your dog. Anyone for dessert? Add $2 per extra dog
Kit and Kaboodle / $15 per 20 minutes
Cat sitting for the BEST…by the BEST! WALKIES, will come to feed and love your baby. We’ll also scoop the litter, bring in the mail, take out the trash and water up to 5 indoor plants at no extra charge. Add $2 per additional cat
Hugs and Kisses / $30 per 60 minutes
Does your pet need some extra love and attention? WALKIES will spend an hour with your loved ones making sure that they get all of the affection they need. We suggest this for animals suffering from separation anxiety due to a new home, living situation etc. Add $2 per extra dog.
Slumber Party / $65 per night
Are you worried about your baby staying home alone with no one to cuddle with? Have WALKIES provide overnight pet care and housesitting to give your pets and your home the added security. This service is to be considered as 2 one hour visits, morning and dinner time, before bedtime potty break with a 12 hour sleeping stay. This is an extremely popular service. We book up quickly, so make your reservations as soon as possible!

For your convenience, WALKIES prefers to keep 2 copies of each clients keys on file at the office, so that we may accommodate your pet-care needs in pinch if need be! There is a charge each time a sitter is requested to pick-up or drop-off a set of keys at each residence.
WALKIES does NOT walk dogs in ‘pack walks’. We believe that not only is this potentially dangerous for your pet, as dogs are at times unpredictable when in packs, but also unfair to your pal! We believe that your dog deserves our undivided attention each and every walk! Besides, we also want YOUR PET’S undivided attention…we love them!
Andrea is the owner and operator of WALKIES, LLC. She studied at Temple University, Villanova University and earned her degree from Pratt Institute (she made this website :) After graduating, in 2000 for the next 2 years she worked for the X Games, putting her degree to work, and taking care of friends and neighbors pets on the side. Realizing her dream would rather be taking care of pets, she ditched the desk job Andrea created WALKIES! She is also a certified yoga instructor happily pursuing her dreams of working with animals and teaching and practicing yoga! She resides in Riverton/Palmyra NJ with boyfriend Tim. Andrea and Tim are the proud parents of 1 Sebastian (hes human!) and 2 Boxers Louise and Boss.
Carly divides her time between the often-frustrating task of writing, and the always-fun (and diverting) "chore" of walking and playing with all types of adorable dogs! She loves building relationships with all of the dogs she gets to visit each day, and especially loves housesitting so she can spend even more time hanging out with them - and learning all of their quirks! She lives with her boyfriend and their dog, Squidgie.
Kara is a fashionista manager at Buffalo Exchange, but moonlights as a pet sitter for WALKIES. She is a housesitting marvel. Clients rave about how happy and content their pets are when they come home, but also how neat and tidy their homes are…she stays with my pets too when I’m traveling!
Jen lives in with her Husband Jay and their two dogs Sadie Mama and Liberty. Among her favorite things to do (other than loving on pets!) are shopping at flea markets, cheering on the Florida Gators (where she was an all star soccer player!) and all Philly Sports teams and spending time with her family and friends
Our team is second to none when it comes to honest, trustworthy and most of all kind and caring people to be with your pets when you wish you could be. Every sitter is individually trained and orientated to ensure that you, your pets and home are loved and well taken care of, from the second we come into your lives!

Making up one half of the FAB Lythberg Team, Michelle is a lover of all things with 4 legs, wings or a fin. She holds a bachelors degree from Temple University in Psychology and Art History.
Works in the testing and assessment industry as a client manager.
Grew up around animals and has owned everything from hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, ferrets, and hermit crabs to dogs, cat and fish.
We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful and dependable company that we can trust our frenchie Stuart with. We love Andrea and would recommend her and Walkies to anyone that is in need of someone to take care of their four legged family member. Stuart looks forward to his visits every day!

When I called Andrea about adding more walks for her staff, she took over, assigned the walkers and took the whole problem out of my hands. The daily notes you leave indicating what what has happened, or is of concern is so very helpful for us as their parents to keep alert to their well-being and happiness. Its hard to put into words just how pleased weve been with Walkies over the past two and a half years. Our dog Connie was a rescued dog who had been through a lot, so when we adopted her it was important to us to find the right person to walk her during the day when we were at work. We knew from the minute we met Andrea that she was this person. Her enthusiasm, warmth, and love of all animals is immediately apparent. Shes been such a good friend to Connie, and we know that we can always rely on her. WALKIES was recommended to us when we first arrived in Philadelphia, approx. 6 years ago. From the moment we met Andrea, or should I say Barrister (our 8 yr old English Bulldog) met Andrea, we all knew that we could trust her to care for and pamper our baby. Before I got my puppy Buckley I never had a dog before. So when I set out to find a dog walking service I needed more than just a walker, I needed someone who will help me raise my dog and offer advice when needed. I interviewed several people in my search, but I knew almost immediately that Walkies was right for me and Buckley. Andrea was incredibly prepared, noticeably enthusiastic and most of all, instantly attached to Buckley. Hiring Walkies was a no-brainer.
I work almost an hour away from my home. Every morning I leave at 7am and dont return until at least 6pm. Walkies is not just my dog walking service, it is my peace of mind. I dont think I could own a dog without the assistance of Walkies, and I dont think I could live without my dog! Andrea shows such love and care to my dog you'd think it was her own dog.
On more than one occasion I've found myself in a bind, whether its traveling out of town for a day, or running out of dog food, Andrea is always available to help. Her flexibility and willingness to help has saved me from countless days of potential aggravation.
