Meet Our Sitters

Ben Lythberg - Introducing the other half of Team Lythberg...Benjamin is originally from Auckland, NZ. Ben is crazy for animals of all species and a true animal advocate. When he is not home, he is on the road working in music management. Co-parent of the fabulous Boston Terrier Zombie Apocalypse, cat Frankenstein Meow Meow, Chihuahua Clash Dynamite and approximately 100+ tropical fish.

Juleen - When she’s not walking dogs, Juleen is finishing up her English degree at UPenn. She loves four legged furry babies of all kinds and has had pets all her life (even mice!) She loves to visit her canine niece and nephew, Betsy and Eddie, and give them LOTS of love. At home, in Queens Village, she shares her apartment with her black shorthair cat, Amelia. Juleen loves being able to brighten up pets’ days by giving them a chance to get out and get some fresh air and exercise while their owners are at work or busy!

Kara - Growing up Kara was never the babysitting kind of gal, instead she offered services as a petsitter to her friends and family. Kara's love for animals has grown through out her life and she has never lived without them! Kara lives with a fat cat named Trigger who keeps her up past bedtime because she can't stop petting him! Kara has so much love to give other pets, which is why she has worked for Walkies for over four years! She mostly does over night stays and cat visits since she is also the Assoc Manager at Buffalo Exchange in Center City Philadelphia.
Maureen Costello - Maureen is a lover of all furry little creatures including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and mice....ok, maybe not so much mice. She grew up in a big family with plenty of household pets, so she is definitely no stranger to the care, love and work that goes into having an animal friend. She's a recent graduate from Temple University with her degree in magazine and photojournalism. When she's not walking dogs or trying to figure out the next step into grad school, she regularly performs improv comedy all around the city. But most of all, she loves spending time with animals from all different walks of life.

Melissa Pine - Melissa Pine is working towards a Psychology degree at Temple and has been in the rescue/pet industry for many years...and most recently helping to care for Gordon, the chocolate Pit bull that can't walk and working hard to raise money for his surgery. She lives with her boyfriend Mike, Mollie and Emily the Weimaraner, and Jade the cat. She LOVES all types of dogs and cats...especially gray ones!

Michelle - Making up one half of the FAB Lythberg Team, Michelle is a lover of all things with 4 legs, wings or a fin. She holds a bachelors degree from Temple University in Psychology and Art History. Michelle works in the testing and assessment industry as a client manager. Michelle grew up around animals and has had everything from hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, ferrets, and hermit crabs to dogs, cat and fish. Co-parent of the fabulous Boston Terrier Zombie Apocalypse, cat Frankenstein Meow Meow, Chihuahua Clash Dynamite and approximately 100+ tropical fish. Michelle has quite a way with our very tiny and very LARGE animals!
